Dawn Ngakane

I was a Registered Nurse, specialising in Geriatrics and Orthopaedics . I stopped working in hospitals, as I felt I couldn’t provide the personal care that was needed. After working in the post office for eight years, I decided to set myself up as an independent carer in 2017. In 2018, along with another carer Liz, we set up our network of independent carers. Every day I feel I’m making a difference and the work is so rewarding.
